Nancy U Altamonte Springs, FL one,444 contributions Sep 2021 • Couples I saw this identify in my Florida day trip volume. It is a small museum then a pocket-sized garden of sculptures by Albin. We spent a little over an hour there merely nice and repose. Don't forget to grab the brochure to tell you about each sculpture. I love learning a piddling scrap about history while enjoying the fresh air. We didn't practise the museum tour only perhaps information technology is worth the time. Our timing didn't piece of work out. Written 26 September 2021 This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor fellow member and non of TripAdvisor LLC. Jul 2021 We actually liked the grounds right on a lake. Some of Albin'south larger bronzes were very skillful but a lot didn't impress us. Some of Jack Hills pieces were very skilful just the highlight for us was Edson Campos' extremely well washed and lifelike paintings! Nosotros didn't stay to run into the bout of the funky quondam house. Written 31 July 2021 This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. Nosotros discovered that he was an achieved sculptor, artist and much more than. His legacy is alive and thriving at this museum. The grounds are peaceful and dotted amongst the beautiful environment are his magnificent sculptures. Our docent Denise, was informative and truly admires the man and his works. She told us many stories about the homo and the pieces in his drove, so that his interesting life came live thanks to her commentary. This was the start trip to a local museum we went to in over a year, considering of the pandemic. It was delightful and worth the await! Pat H Asheboro, NC seventy contributions Feb 2021 We loved the wonderful sculptures in the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens. The gardens are filled with beautiful flowers and trees that provide a delightful setting for the wide range of exquisite sculptures. Some are quite large; others are smaller. As nosotros walked through this amazing garden, we defenseless glimpses of Lake Osceola which it borders. A big office of the allure of this Museum is the intriguing Polasek story of the life, home and studio of the sculptor who lived here and created such a wide array of beautiful art. We highly recommend it when you are in the Winter Park area. Written two March 2021 This review is the subjective stance of a Tripadvisor fellow member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. February 2021 We enjoyed this museum and walking among the statues and beautiful plants in the sculpture garden. There is a 15 minute video about the creative person and a tour of the domicile. Endeavour to schedule that, bout when you lot outset enter. Information technology is offered at various times during the day. There is 4 master rooms to bout of the dwelling house, only it gives you a glimpse into his art/talent. Thanks to the Byron Walker, who explained about how the plants tie into the fine art and as well Lenny, the docent who led the bout. Love how the volunteers working in the garden seem to love their piece of work. A happy place. Jan 2021 There is an interesting back story to this attraction but you lot need a guided docent to tell you it. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and since in that location was a wedding, nosotros could non non walk all the gardens and were rushed through a bout before the guests for the wedding were to go far. Information technology seems like they would have posted this event on their website then visitors such as us could have avoided it.
